Just north of Akron, Everett Field holds 10,000 years of Indigenous history still being uncovered. This includes a variety of items from ancient Indigenous residents known as the Hopewell, found on Summit Metro Parks’ land leased to Szalay’s Farm & Market. What types of artifacts did archeologists and University of Akron students recently find?

This quiz will also test you on which neighborhood is home to Akron’s 100-year-old United Baptist Church and a $110,000 grant to develop a safety tool for an area waterway. Take our quiz to find out about these and more.

Before we get started, let’s give a shout-out to quiz takers Liz J., Donald H., J.P., Lorraine S., Emily F., Melissa L., Doug J., Kimberly M., Eileen T., Leovina C., Edward H., Ceil C., Warren H., John M., Dominic G., Stephen S., Chance A., Lori S., Nancy B., Holly S., Rick S. and Deawna C. for scoring 100% on last week’s news quiz. Well done.

Ready. Set. Quiz.
