Here are the candidates on the Nov. 3 midterm ballot for Ohio’s House and Senate races in Akron-area districts, with information provided to Signal Akron by the Akron Area League of Women Voters for our 2026 Nov. 3 Primary Election Voter Guide. Each of the candidates was asked to provide basic information and answer questions.
As we head into November’s General Election, our election coverage will examine local races and policy issues through the lens of how they specifically affect Akron residents. Her Republican opponent, Vivek Ramaswamy, released an ad featuring the Democrat’s mother saying Acton is a liar. The ad did not explicitly reference the rape case but has sharply divided Republicans.
