2026 trick-or-treat times in Akron and Summit County
Get those costumes ready: It’s almost time for trick-or-treat. Akron residents who wish to participate should turn a porch light on so trick-or-treaters know where to stop. Akron police officers will be on patrol throughout the evening on Saturday, Oct. 31, when the city holds its official trick-or-treat from 5 to 7 p.m.
Our culture and arts stories will explore the creativity in Akron’s neighborhoods, focusing on areas that are under-represented. We will capture Akron’s creative voices and the joy and beauty they bring to our city.
