A shooting Saturday evening at a party in Akron’s Goodyear Heights neighborhood injured a four-year-old child and three adults.

Akron police officers responded around 7:41 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Morningview Avenue, according to a news release from the Akron Police Department.

The three adults who were shot are between the ages of 33 and 52 years old. No information was immediately available about the extent of the injuries.

No other information is available at this time.

The shooting comes just more than one month after a June 2 mass shooting in East Akron killed one and injured 28. No suspects have been identified in that incident, although the APD released a photograph of an SUV they believe was involved.
