Akron knows how to show up on race day. Each year, runners and spectators fill the city’s streets as the Akron Marathon winds through neighborhoods, past landmarks and toward the finish line. This week, we’re leaving the breakfast counter and heading to the marathon course. The annual Akron Marathon is Saturday, and its route will take runners across a large swath of the city, including one of the area’s parks.
