Welcome to the 2024 Voter Guide produced by the League of Women Voters and Signal Akron.

The Nov. 5 ballot features races for the President, U.S. Senate, Ohio House District 13, Ohio Supreme Court justices, State Senate and House seats and county office holders, among others.

We’ve broken the guide into two main parts, one focusing on candidates and the other focusing on ballot issues.

To find candidates, start with this page, which lists all of the offices in play.

To find issues, start with this page, which lists everything that will be on your ballot, depending on where you live.

You can also do a general search on the site to find everything we’ve published on a particular issue or candidate. Look for the magnifying glass symbol on the top right of the home page.

Early voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 8 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 3 (hours that day are 1 to 5 p.m.) at the Summit County Board of Elections Early Vote Center, 500 Grant St. in Akron.

Responses are not edited, vetted or corrected by the League of Women Voters or Signal Akron to allow candidates to speak in their own words. If a candidate didn’t respond to requests for information, it will be noted. If a candidate responds after we initially publish, we’ll add it in.

Signal Akron will also be producing election preview stories throughout the month of October, so keep an eye out for them on the website and in our newsletters. Not receiving our newsletters? Go here to sign up.
