Your weekend plans

It is closing weekend for Magical Theatre Company’s production of “Witness for the Prosecution,” a courtroom drama about a young man accused of murdering a widow for her wealth. Performances of the detective novelist Agatha Christie’s play are Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18-$20.

Saturday is the last chance to visit the Akron Art Museum’s “GLOW: Neon and Light” for free. Stop by the museum from 6-10 p.m. for Midwinter Tunes, an evening of food, art, Valentine’s Day card making and music (including Signal Ohio’s Floco Torres).

Get into the Superb Owl Sunday spirit with Summit Metro Parks and learn a thing or two about our nighttime feathered friends. From noon to 2 p.m., folks of all ages can enjoy crafts, a self-guided hike and live owl calls — and still make it home in time for kickoff.
